STILLWATER – Less than a week after hinting at a return for next season, Jaylen Curry is set to leave Oklahoma State. According to a report from On3’s Joe Tipton, Curry is set to enter the transfer portal.
Curry became the second OSU player to hit the portal on Tuesday and the third overall as Daniel Guetta was the first to announce his departure.
Curry played in 33 games this past season for the Pokes, starting in seven games and averaged nearly 24 minutes per game. In that time, he averaged 10 points and 3.2 rebounds per game on 42% shooting from the floor and nearly 32% from 3-point range.
He also averaged 3.5 assists per game to just one turnover per, which is something the Cowboys could use next season.
Curry won’t be the last Cowboy basketball to hit the portal as there are a few more expected to announce in the coming days.
