STILLWATER – Jacie Hoyt and her staff are putting together one of the best transfer portal recruiting classes in the entire country as former Iowa State star Audi Crooks has committed to Oklahoma State

Crooks is a 6-3 center and has been one of the best players in college basketball the last three seasons. She started in 31 of 31 games this past year and averaged nearly 26 points on 65% shooting from the floor. She also shot a decent 73% from the free throw line and have nearly eight rebounds per game, most coming on the defensive end.

Crooks was just as effective as a sophomore as she started in 35 of 35 games and averaged just over 23 points per game on 60% shooting from the floor with nearly eight rebounds per game.

And if you were wondering if she was any good as a freshman, the answer is yes as Crooks averaged 19 points per game on 58% shooting from the floor with eight rebounds per game. Talk about consistency.

Throughout her three seasons in Ames, Crooks has averaged 23 points and eight rebounds per game, while shooting 61% from the floor and nearly 70% from the free throw line.

She’s a three-time First Team All-Big 12 selection, a two-time Naismith Trophy Midseason Team selection, as well as a three-time All-America Regional finalist. She was a Second Team All-America selection this past season by the AP, USBWA and the Sporting News.

As a junior, she was a Third-Team All-America selection by the AP and USBWA and made the Big 12 All-Freshman team in 2024.

Crooks joins an already loaded transfer portal class which includes the D2 Player of the Year in Talexa Weeter, the No. 2 overall transfer in Liv McGill from Florida, Lindenwood guard Ellie Brueggemann, Utah guard LA Sneed and Rutgers guard Nene Ndiaye.
