Oklahoma State Officially Adds Arizona State Transfer Andrija Grbovic
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has officially added Arizona State transfer center, Andrija Grbovic, and is now the fifth transfer to sign with the Pokes in this class.
"Andrija gives us another skilled frontcourt player who can stretch the floor and play with pace," Lutz said. "He has played at a high level internationally, understands spacing and ball movement, and has the size and shooting touch to create matchup problems. His experience and familiarity with the Big 12 should help him transition quickly into what we want to do."
Grbovic is coming off his junior season with the Sun Devils and checks in at 6-11. He hails from Pljevlja, Montenegro, and turns 23 in September, giving Lutz and Co. a lot of experience in the paint.
This past season with the Sun Devils, Grbovic averaged nearly seven points and three rebounds per game this past season in 33 games, 27 of which were starts.
Grbovic is now the second player from Montenegro as he joins his former club and national team teammate, Luka Bogavac, who transferred to Oklahoma State from North Carolina. The two played together during the 2024-25 season with SC Derby, a team in the Adriatic League, the 2022 Junior Adriatic title, as well as a bronze medal in the 2023 FIBA U20 EuroBasket tournament.
The other four transfers who have signed is Luke Bogavac from North Carolina, Kashie Natt and Jacob Walker both from Sam Houston and Julius Halaifonua from Georgetown.
