Oklahoma State Lands Commitment From UCF Transfer Forward Jordan Burks
STILLWATER – Steve Lutz and Co. have added a sixth transfer out of the portal as former UCF forward Jordan Burks has committed to Oklahoma State.
Burks checks in at 6-9, 205 pounds and spent this past season with the Knights, where he started 33 of 33 games and averaged 13 points on 45% shooting from the floor and 37% from 3-point range. He also had nearly five rebounds per game and led the team in free throw percentage at 78%.
Prior to UCF, Burks spent his sophomore season at Georgetown, where he was a teammate of new Cowboy Julius Halaifonua. As a sophomore, Burks saw action in 34 games, starting in 11, and averaged six points per game on 52% shooting, while bringing down 3.4 rebounds per game.
He began his career at Kentucky back in 2023-24, where he averaged two points and 1.6 rebounds in 20 games for the Wildcats.
Burks joins Luka Bogavac (North Carolina,) Andrija Grbovic (Arizona State,) Kashie Natt and Jacob Walker (both Sam Houston) and Halaifonua (Georgetown) out of the transfer portal. Kanye Clary, Ben Ahmed, Ryan Crotty and Mekhi Ragland are all returning from last season and Lutz and Co. have added Latrell Allmond, Jalen Montonati, Parker Robinson and Anthony Felesi in the 2026 class.
This fills the 14th roster spot for Lutz and Co., leaving one spot left.
