STILLWATER – Some good news for Oklahoma State basketball and Parsa Fallah as a Payne County judge granted Fallah a temporary restraining order against the NCAA, allowing him to be immediate eligibility to play the upcoming season.
It’s important to note the TRO is the same as guard Kashie Natt received, meaning the NCAA will still have a chance to fight this decision in court in the coming weeks/months. If the NCAA were to win one or both cases, the players wouldn’t be allowed eligibility.
Also listed in the injunction is Cowboy football player Iman Oates and soccer player Ellie Geoffroy.
Fallah played in 26 games this past season for the Pokes before tearing his ACL against West Virginia. In those games, Fallah averaged 26 minutes per game and averaged nearly 15 points and six rebounds per game, while shooting 60% from the floor, 40% from 3-point range and 68% from the free throw line.
Regardless of the TRO or how the judge will rule should the NCAA win/lose its case, Fallah is still rehabbing his knee and wouldn’t be ready to start the season physically.
