Oklahoma State to Face Minnesota and Virginia Tech in Charleston Classic
STILLWATER – A few months out, Oklahoma State now knows its opponents for the Charleston Classic. The Pokes will face Minnesota on Friday, Nov. 20, at 11:30 a.m. CT on ESPN2 and Virginia Tech on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 2:30 p.m. CT ESPN.
While the Cowboys’ schedule was set, the complete list of non-conference opponents is now complete.
This will mark the ninth all-time match up between the Pokes and Golden Gophers, with the Pokes trailing 5-3. The last game between the two programs game at the BOK Center over in Tulsa in 2019, with the Golden Gophers winning 86-66.
As for the Pokes and the Hokies, this will be the first game between the two since December 2022 and the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational in Brooklyn, with the Pokes losing 70-65.
While the Cowboys officially kick their season off on Nov. 2 against Incarnate Word in Stillwater, but they’ve got three exhibition games throughout the month of October, New Mexico on Oct. 11. And Tulsa Oct. 23. They’ll travel to Madison, WI on Oct. 27 to face the Badgers in the Kohl Center.
