STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has two more players earn Big 12 Player of the Week honors this year after the Pokes beat UCF on Saturday, 42-28, with linebacker Ethan Wesloski earning defensive honors and kicker Sam Keltner special teams honors.

This marks the third weekly honor for both Keltner and Wesloski.

Wesloski led all tacklers with 17 total tackles against the Knights, eight of which were solo stops, with a half tackle for loss. His 17 tackles tied a career-high, which he set in the last game against West Virginia, making him the only FBS player this season with two games with at least 17 tackles. He’s now No. 1 in the FBS with nearly 11 tackles per game.

That gives him 53 total tackles this season, 21 of which have been solo stops, 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack.

Kicker Sam Keltner continued his great season as he was a perfect 2-for-2 on field goals, one from 40 yards and the other from 29. That makes him 12-of-12 on the season. He leads the nation with 12 makes, two more than Minnesota’s Luke Drzewiecki. He’s also 19-of-19 on extra points.
