One of Oklahoma State’s favorite defensive targets, Jeremy Pattonn, has included the Cowboys in his newly released top 10.

The list is a star studded one that includes Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Michigan, Baylor, Tennessee, Texas, and TCU along with the Cowboys.

I list his position as a defensive athlete because on any given snap, he could be anywhere on the field. You will see him in the safety position, linebacker position, defending the pass or crashing down on the run. He is also a threat on offense at wide receiver and running back.

This past season, he helped lead Tenaha deep into the playoffs before they lost to eventual Class 2A-2 runner-up in Mart. The Tenaha Tigers finished 10-3 and 6-0 in District 11-2A-2 with Patton being named the District football MVP. Patton had 120 total tackles with six fumbles caused (no surprise) and one fumble recovery that he took in for a score. He also had a pair of interceptions and the one he snagged in the middle of the field at the one-yard-line against Lovelady, Patton returned it 99-yards for the touchdown. His offensive skills on display with the return that featured some dipsy-doo work. The 6-2, 205-pound Patton played running back and carried 103 times for 1,008-yards and 20 touchdowns. He also caught 15 passes for 362-yards and four touchdowns.

Patton has an official visit schedulen to Stillwater June 9-11, which will he will be on with all 10 commitments and some other priority targets for the Cowboys recruiting staff.
