Oklahoma State Has Dominated the Bedlam Series in Recent Years
STILLWATER – Of all the games and all the series and teams Oklahoma State plays in every sport, there’s nothing quite like Bedlam and playing Oklahoma. The stakes are always higher, and the adrenaline is always elevated just a little bit more.
So, it should come as a nice surprise to know that Oklahoma State has dominated The Bedlam Series in recent years.
In fact, they’ve won the last seven out of eight series, including the 2020-21 series, which the Pokes currently lead 22-12. There’s always the possibility the two teams will meet in the postseason.
A couple of the more notable wins include a season sweep in both men’s and women’s basketball, including a win for the Cowgirls in the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City, a sweep for wrestling in the first year of two Bedlam duals in quite some time and a series win for baseball.
However, if we were to boil it down and pick the most impressive Bedlam win of the 2020-21 season, it would easily be the 6-4 win over the Sooners for Cowgirl softball. It marked the first win over OU for the Cowgirls since a 2-1 win over the Sooners back in 2011. It was the sixth time in program history the Cowgirls knocked off the No. 1 team in the country.
