Its almost that time!

A little over two weeks ago, on Monday, January 25, the Cowboys picked up a commitment, but that player chose to remain silent with his commitment for some time.

I and the rest of the Pokes Report staff have been in contact with the player, both on the phone and in person, since the time of his silent commitment.

We broke the news that the player would go public with his commitment on Friday, February 12, a date that is special to him, being his grandfathers birthday. Now, we have an exact time.

The player has told me he will go public on Twitter with his announcement at 5:30p.m. CT this Friday.

This will mark the 4th commitment for the Cowboys and will solidify this as one of the hottest starts Mike Gundy has had to a recruiting class in his career in Stillwater. Make sure you have your phones ready on Friday evening and have @PokesReport, @MarshallLevy14, @RAllenGoPokes, and @Zlancaster91 tweet notifications on!

Stay with Pokes Report for the best and most in depth coverage of Oklahoma State athletics and recruiting!

Hey Marshall, with the restriction on Campus visits, how much contact via Zoom or another face time App is allowed by the Main recruiter of a prospect?

Well, the NCAA just changed the rule a on Feb 1 that recruiters can call players and their families whenever to help make up for lack of visits. A lot of these calls are done via FaceTime when just chatting but are done via Zoom when they are giving virtual tours or speaking with family members as well. With the changes these can happen freely but only with the 2022 class. The 2023 class still has restrictions.
