CLEBURNE, Texas – Oklahoma State's winning streak reached three Wednesday night at La Moderna Field as the 16th-ranked Cowboys defeated Abilene Christian, 6-0. The win marked OSU's first shutout of the season as the Pokes improved to 4-3; ACU fell to 3-5.

Donovan LaSalle homered in the win, and Aidan Meola drove in a pair of runs for the Cowboys.

Ryan Ure picked up the win on the mound as the southpaw worked three shutout innings, allowing three hits and striking out three. The outing was the longest of his career, topping his previous high of two in 2022.

Seven Cowboy pitchers combined for the shutout as they allowed just six hits and racked up 11 strikeouts while issuing only two walks.

OSU struck first in the third inning when LaSalle crushed a two-run home run to left field, his second round tripper of the season.

The Cowboys increased their lead in the sixth. After loading the bases with one out via a pair of walks and a double, Meola delivered a two-RBI single up the middle to make the score 4-0. With the bases full again, pinch-hitter Garrett Shull drew a walk to bring home OSU's fifth run.

OSU returns to action Friday when the Cowboys open play in the Astros Foundation College Classic against Tennessee at 3:05 p.m. They will take on Texas A&M Saturday night before closing the tourney against Mississippi State Sunday at 2:05 p.m.
