STILLWATER – Steve Lutz and Co. are looking to add the first piece to the 2027 class and have extended an offer to top 30 prospect Anderson Diaz.
Diaz checks in at 6-1, 180 pounds and has received offers from more than 20 schools, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Florida State, Illinois, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Ole Miss, St. John’s, Syracuse and UCLA among others.
He currently plays in the same league as Parker Robinson, Overtime Elite, but plays for Cold Hearts, but is originally out of the Bronx, NY. This past season, Diaz averaged 17 points per game on 43% shooting from the floor, five rebounds and seven assists per game.
His scoring went up in the playoffs as he averaged 19 points per game on 51% shooting from the floor, but everything else stayed roughly the same as he had four rebounds and seven assists.
Diaz is currently listed as the No. 29 overall prospect in the 2027 class, the No. 6 point guard and No. 4 player out of the Georgia.
