STILLWATER – Nearly a month after his commitment, North Carolina transfer guard Luke Bogavac has officially signed with Oklahoma State.

Hailing from Montenegro, Bogavac (pronounced BO-guh-vahts) is 22-years old and made his NCAA debut with the Tar Heels this past season. He spent two seasons in the Adriatic League prior to his time in Chapel Hill, as well as making multiple appearances on Montenegro’s junior and senior national teams.

"Luka has grown up in high-level basketball and has performed on some of the world's biggest stages. It shows in his game—he plays with poise, confidence and purpose. Paired with his size and shooting ability, he has all the tools to be a very good player at OSU."

Checking in at 6-6, 215 pounds, Bogavac averaged nearly 10 points per game this past season for the Tar Heels, shooting 40% from the floor and 35% from 3-point range in just over 24 minutes per game. He also recorded 73 assists to 38 turnovers with 12 steals.

Before arriving at North Carolina, he spent two seasons playing with SC Derby Podgorica in the AdmiralBet ABA League. He played in 26 games in 2023-24 and averaged nearly eight points per game, which included going 28 for 87 from 3-point range. The following season, his averaged jumped up to 15 points per game and he was 61 for 154 from 3-point range across 29 games. That’s roughly three makes on just over five attempts per game.
