TULSA, OK – It was one of the more fun pieces of speculation all summer. Who would score the first touchdown of the Eric Morris era?

Cowboy fans had to wait long maybe longer than they anticipated for the answer during the season opener on Saturday afternoon in Tulsa.

Oklahoma State struck on its third drive of the second half. It happened 13 minutes into the third quarter and capped off an 11-play drive.

Justin Bowick caught a 16-yard pass on fourth down when it looked like hope my start to be fading for the Cowboys

Watch the video here:

The first Cowboy drive netted 70 yards on 13 plays but ended with a turnover on downs at the Tulsa 3-yard-line. Oklahoma State ran another 13 plays on its next drive but that ended in a punt.
