CARY, N.C. – Oklahoma State head coach Josh Holliday is on the coaching staff as an assistant for the 2022 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team.

Holliday has served as head coach of his alma mater for 10 seasons, and he is the second winningest coach in program history with 362 career victories. He has led OSU to an NCAA Regional each year, with the Cowboys making nine consecutive appearances (there was no tournament in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

As a member of head coach Mike Bianco's Team USA staff, Holliday and the team of collegiate stars will begin their summer schedule with a five-game intrasquad series from June 30-July 4 in North Carolina. The Stars vs. Stripes series will feature 50 of the premier collegiate players in the country.

To round out its 2022 campaign, the Collegiate National Team will compete at the Honkbalweek Haarlem tournament beginning July 9 in Haarlem, Netherlands. Team USA will open play against Japan before taking on Italy, Cuba, the Netherlands and Chinese Taipei in group stage play. The second round of the tourney will be July 14 before concluding with the championship on July 15.

Team USA has competed at Honkbalweek Haarlem five times since 2000 and earned three gold medals, including winning a championship in 2014 in its most recent appearance at the event.
