Beware of Quarterbacks Wearing Purple

Oklahoma State can vouch for both of the quarterbacks that wear purple and start in the Big 12 Conference. Max Duggan was instrumental in TCU's win last season in Fort Worth and Skylar Thompson has two wins over the Pokes including one of his first career starts.

ARLINGTON, Texas – Okay, it probably doesn’t surprise you. Quarterbacks in purple have not been good for Oklahoma State. Max Duggan is a quarterback that at one time coming out Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa caught the fancy of then Cowboys offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Mike Yurcich. Last season he rushed for 104-yard and two touchdowns, one a 42-yard streak, to help TCU beat the Cowboys 29-22.
