It was a busy week in Gallagher-Iba Arnea as recruiting never stops when it comes to Oklahoma State basketball and Mike Boynton and Co. The Cowboys landed the commitment from Memphis transfer Moussa Cisse, the AAC Freshman of the Year and five-star and top-10 prospect in the 2020 class.

At the same time, the Cowboy coaching staff extended offers to rising prospects in both the 2022 and 2023 classes.

We’ll start with KyeRon Lindsay in the 2022 class. This is a good offer for the Pokes. I saw Lindsay reported the offer on Twitter while I was in Arlington for Big 12 Media Day.

Lindsay is a 6-8, 205-pound forward out of Denton (TX) Guyer and is absolutely tearing it up on the EYBL circuit with 17U ProSkills EYBL as he’s averaging 16.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. He’s also averaging 1.8 assists and 1.6 blocks per game.

While he’s not currently in the 247Sports or Rivals rankings, I don’t think that’ll be the case for too much longer following his summer performance and Oklahoma State offer. The Cowboys are his first high major offer, but he’s received offers from Cal State Fullerton, Illinois-Chicago, McNeese State, Northeastern, Rice, Southern Illinois, Texas State and UNLV among others.

The 2023 offer is Layden Blocker from Sunrise Christian out of Wichita.

Originally out of Little Rock, Arkansas, Blocker is a four-star point guard and is the No. 55 ranked player in the nation and No. 9 point guard in the 2023 class.

Oklahoma State is his 18th overall offer, along with Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Creighton, Kansas, Oklahoma, TCU and Texas Tech among others.

"An athletic scoring guard, Layden Blocker has a great feel for the game and matching instincts,” said 247Sports recruiting analyst Brandon Jenkins. “The 6-foot-2, 160-pound guard out of Little Rock (Ark.) Christian has a knack for getting in the paint and scoring the ball. He has fairly long arms and is a quality athlete with great burst. On the defensive end, he has potential as a bulldog guarding the ball by utilizing his length and lateral quickness to get stops."
