Oklahoma State Makes the Cut for 2022 Five-Star Shaedon Sharp

STILLWATER – While Oklahoma State doesn’t have a commit in the 2022 class yet, Mike Boynton and Co. are certainly working on it, which includes the pursuit of some big-time talent across the country.

On Tuesday evening, Shaedon Sharpe, out of Dream City Christian in Glendale, AZ, took to Twitter and released his top 10 list, which included the Pokes.

The Pokes are joined by Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas, Kentucky, Oregon, USC, and current Big 12 schools OU and Texas.

Sharpe is a 6-4, 175-pound shooting guard out of Dream City Christian in Glendale, AZ, and is one of the top players in the country. He checks in as the No. 8 overall player in the class, the No. 2 shooting guard and the No. 1 prospect out of Arizona.

Sharpe was one of the top performers during this year’s EYBL circuit as he was named the Best Offensive Player following Session I, where he averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists over the course of seven games. He also shot 46.2% from 3-point range.

Then he backed that performance up at Peach Jam where he averaged 22.6 points per game, while recording six 20-point games and two 30-point games through 12 games.

There’s much speculation that Sharpe will wind up at Kentucky, but Boynton and Co. have proved time and time again they belong with the blue bloods when it comes to recruiting top talent.
