Pokes Report Podcast No. 10: Fall Camp Discussions, Position Battles and Recruiting Talk

STILLWATER – It’s time for another addition of the Pokes Report Podcast! With the conclusion of Fall Camp and the start of practice, Marshall Levenson and I dug into how we felt the starting offensive line would look like come the first game.

We started the show off with a mailbag, which included the offensive line, who we felt would be the breakout wide receiver this year and whether or not we thought Shane Illingworth would become the starting quarterback at some point in the season.

With 2022 JUCO OT prospect Tyrone Webber announcing a commitment date of Dec. 10, Marshall dug into some recruiting timelines and how he felt the class could end up.

One of my favorite parts of the discussion was comparing some of the team defensive stats from the 2020 season and giving an over/under on how the defense will finish in 2021.

Oklahoma State was left off the preseason AP Top 25 Poll when it was released on Monday. Did the Pokes deserve the make the list?

We also discuss who we felt who a breakout player on the basketball team not named Avery or Bryce would be. I’m not sure our answers would surprise you, but it was a rather fun discussion to have with the season just a few months away.

This was a fun episode to record, so we hope you enjoy!
