Oklahoma State Makes the Cut for Four-Star Receiver
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has long been considered Wide Receiver University, churning out multiple Biletnikoff Award winners. Well, they’re one step closer to possibly adding another top-tier talent.
Brenen Thompson, a receiver out of Spearman (TX) High School, dropped his top-three schools list on Friday, which included Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M.
His three-three list was whittled down from six, which included Alabama, Clemson and Oregon.
Thompson is a four-star receiver in the 2022 class and is considered the No. 87 overall prospect and No. 11 WR in country according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
He’s played quite of bit of quarterback during his playing days, purely based on his athleticism. He’s also received all-district honors at both wide receiver and cornerback, while also being one of the top special teams returners in the country. He’s also an incredibly fast, clocking a blistering 10.3 100m dash, as well as a 21.52 200m dash.
Kasey Dunn and OSU currently have three receiver commits in the 2022 class, four-star out of Edmond Santa Fe Talyn Shettron, four-star out of Bixby Braylin Presley and three-star out of Pawhuska Mason Gilkey.
