STILLWATER – Saturday’s a day I didn’t think would ever get here: Game day. Oklahoma State is set to host Missouri State for the first time since the 2018 season, a 58-17 win for the Pokes.

This game marks the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs, with the Pokes currently leading the series 8-0, all taking place in Stillwater.

When it comes to season openers, this game marks the fifth time in the past six years the Pokes have opened the season up at home. It’s also the 63rd time in program history an OSU team has opened its season up in Stillwater.

OSU has a rather impressive record when it comes to home openers as the Pokes currently hold a 52-5-5 record, including winning a school record 25-straight. They’ve also won 45 of the past 51 and 15 of the past 17 home openers.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game between the Pokes and Bears is scheduled for 6 p.m. and is being streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. Courtney Lyle will be on play-by-play, while former Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden will be on color.

As always, you can listen to Dave Hunziker, John Holcomb and Robert Allen on the Cowboy Radio Network. However, it’ll be a lot easier this season as Learfield has created a free app, The Varsity Network, which allows fans to stream the game for free on your mobile device.
