Oklahoma State-Baylor Game Thread
STILLWATER – It’s the final regular season of the game for Oklahoma State as they’re down in Waco, TX trying to finish the season with a win against Baylor. It’s going to be a difficult task for the Pokes for multiple reasons, but first and foremost they’ll be without several key players.
Chuba Hubbard has decided to forego the rest of the season to prepare for the NFL Draft, but he’s in Waco and will be on the sidelines with his teammates. The Cowboys will also be without receiver Tylan Wallace and corner Rodarius Williams, both who left the TCU game last weekend with injuries.
The next reason it will be a difficult task for the Pokes to get a win against Baylor today is they haven’t beaten the Bears in Waco since the 2009 season. Yikes.
However, they will be wearing the best helmet design they’ve ever had, or will ever wear.
Baylor shutdown the football facilities earlier this week after several offensive coaches tested positive for COVID-19. Well, some more news comes out of Waco as the Bears will be without several members of the team, including coaches, players and staff.
Marshall Levenson and myself will be active in the comment section throughout the game, so come join us and be a part of the conversation!
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
