This game marks the 68th all-time meeting between these two programs, a series which dates back to 1908. The Cowboys currently hold a 41-26 all-time lead over the Wildcats, including a 22-9 lead in Stillwater, and have won eight of the past 12 matchups.

The Cowboys are fresh off a 21-20 road win over Boise State, handing the Broncos just their 11th home loss since 2000. While the passing game wasn’t there, 6-of-13 passing for just 87 yards, running back Jaylen Warren had the best game of his career. The redshirt senior transfer out of Utah State posted 223 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries.

"Well, we pumped it to [Warren] 32 times,” head coach Mike Gundy said on Monday. “I'd like to not do that, but he's going to get his carries."

As for the defense, they held the Broncos to just 64 yards of total offense in the second half.
