Game Notes
- Oklahoma State’s defense limited Baylor to 14 points and 280 yards of total offense. The Bears entered the game averaging 42.8 points and 490.8 yards of total offense per game.
- The Oklahoma State defense forced Baylor to punt on each of its first eight drives. The Bears were 0-for-6 on third down in the first half and had only six rushing yards before halftime.
- The Cowboys limited Baylor to 99 yards of total offense in the first half. It marked the fourth straight game where OSU allowed less than 100 yards of offense in a half. The Cowboys held Tulsa to 89 yards in the first half, Boise State to 64 yards in the second half and Kansas State to 84 yards in the second half.
- The Cowboy offense turned the ball over three times, but the OSU defense kept Baylor from scoring on its ensuing possession after each one.
- Oklahoma State’s Tay Martin finished with 108 receiving yards on seven receptions. With the exception of OSU’s game against Tulsa in which Martin only played the first series before leaving due to injury, he has eclipsed 100 yards receiving in every game in which he has suited up this season (107 vs. Missouri State and 100 vs. Kansas State).
- Running back Jaylen Warren carried the ball a career-high 36 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns In the last three games, he has been central to OSU’s offensive gameplan, logging 95 carries (32 against Boise State, 27 against Kansas State and 36 against Baylor).
- Senior Tanner Brown kicked a 20-yard field goal in the fourth quarter. It was the first as a Cowboy for the walk-on transfer from UNLV.
- Oklahoma State was without a pair of notable players – defensive end Brock Martin and running back LD Brown were both out due to injury.
- Oklahoma State’s game captains were quarterback Spencer Sanders, defensive tackle Israel Antwine, safety Kolby Harvell-Peel and special teamer Ben Kopenski.
- At halftime, the Big 12 champion team from 2011 was honored. Among the approximately 50 players in attendance were Biletnikoff Award winning receiver Justin Blackmon and quarterback Brandon Weeden.

- Made it 5-0 for the first time since 2015 and for the fifth time in the Mike Gundy era.
- Marked its seventh straight win, securing its longest winning streak since OSU won seven straight in 2016. OSU's six-game winning streak entering the game is tied for the sixth-longest active streak in the FBS.
- Made the Cowboys 22-18 all-time vs. Baylor and 14-7 vs. Baylor in Stillwater.
- Gave it two straight wins vs. Baylor for the first time since OSU won six straight from 2006-11.
- Made it 19-7 in its past 26 games against Baylor.
- Made it 13-2 in its past 15 home games against Baylor.
- Improved Mike Gundy's career record vs. Baylor to 10-7.
- Improved Mike Gundy's record in Big 12 games to 85-55.
- Improved it to 13-3 in its past 16 games, 22-8 in its past 30 games, 46-18 in its past 64 games and 60-24 in its past 84 games.
- Made it 141-66 in its history when playing as an AP-ranked team.
- Made it 5-2 in its last seven games when both teams are ranked in the AP Top 25.
- Made it 129-37 in its history when playing as a higher AP-ranked team than its opponent.
- Made it 12-5 in its past 17 games and 16-8 in its past 24 games vs. AP Top 25 teams.
- Improved it to 27-22 vs. AP ranked teams since the beginning of the 2011 season.
- Marked Mike Gundy's 33rd career win vs. AP Top 25 opponents. Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney are the only other active coaches with more wins over AP Top 25 teams at their current schools.
Notable Streaks and Trends Through the Baylor Game
- OSU has held its opponent scoreless on its game-opening drive in 18 of the past 22 games and seven of the past nine.
