STILLWATER – Saturday was a great day for Oklahoma State, but especially for three Cowboys, Dillon Stoner, Dominic Richardson and Jake McClure, as they were named Big 12 Players of the Week following the 42-3 win over Baylor.

Receiver Dillon Stoner was named the Offensive Player of the Week, running back Dominic Richardson was the Newcomer of the week and kicker Jake McClure was named the Special Teams Player of the Week. It marks the first honor for all three players.

The three honors bring the Pokes’ Big 12 weekly awards total up to 11, a number that leads all other teams in the conference. It’s also the team’s most since the 2013 season when they racked up a total of 12 weekly honors.

Stoner led the way for the Pokes on Saturday as he hauled in eight catches for 247-yards and three touchdowns, a career-high in both yards and touchdowns. The performance also marked the third-highest receiving yard performance in program history.

Dominic Richardson on his 50-yard run against Baylor.

Richardson got a bulk of the carries on Saturday with Chuba Hubbard and LD Brown out of the game and Dez Jackson leaving the game with an injury. He racked up an impressive 169-yards and three touchdowns, both career-highs for the true freshman and showed the future at running back is bright for the Pokes as it was the second-highest rushing total for a freshman since Thurman Thomas posted 206-yards against Kansas State in 1984.

Jake McClure kicks off at Baylor.

As for McClure, he was in charge of kickoff and punting duties against the Bears. The average starting field position for Baylor on Saturday following kickoffs was at the 25.1-yard line and he pinned the Bears deep towards the end of the first half with a punt that was downed on the Baylor 15-yard line to keep the Pokes up 28-0 going into half.
