Watch: Mike Gundy's Open Week Media Availability
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy met with the media in the Sherman Smith Indoor on Tuesday. The Pokes fresh off a 24-14 win over No. 21 Baylor, vaulting them up to No. 12 and they'll face unranked Texas in Austin next weekend following an open week this week.
While the offense put up 24 points against the Bears last weekend, it was Jim Knowles’ defense once again that gave the Pokes the win. They held Baylor to less than 300 yards of total offense, 280 total, 173 through the air and 107 on the ground.

The Pokes were impressive on 3rd downs on both sides of the ball, posting 8-of-19 on offense and holding the Bears to just 3-of-15. The Cowboys were also 2-for-2 on 4th downs.
The Cowboys will face Texas on Oct. 16, but the game is currently in a six-day window, meaning we’ll know game and broadcast details following this weekend’s slate of games. The game will either be an 11 a.m. CT kick on FOX, or a 6:30 p.m. CT kick on ABC.
