Cowboys JUCO OL target Tyrone Webber Sets Decision Date
Oklahoma State recruiting looks to be heating up a bit after going through a quiet stretch over the past few months. The Cowboys staff has been hosting several prospects on official visits over the past few weeks, including two top targets on the offensive line.
It appears that one of the prospects may have pulled the trigger as we saw a Mike Gundy commitment tweet late Sunday night. The tweet had fans swirling around guessing name is who it might be, but we might have already found an answer, or at least a hint offered by one of the prospects.
Just after midnight, Tyrone Webber, a New Mexico Military Institute offensive lineman sent out tweet, hinting at a commitment date of October 18th.
Webber went on his official visit to Stillwater on Oct. 3-5, a visit he told Pokes Report went fantastic. It is also important to note that Webber went on an official visit to Missouri just a few days after he left Oklahoma State.
Social media is often a good indicator of what recruits are thinking and when you look at Webber’s twitter, his profile and header picture are both pictures of Webber in the Oklahoma State uniform he was wearing on his visit.
After his visit he put some words on twitter saying, “Would like to thank Coach Gundy, Coach Dickey and Coach Crabtree for having my mother and I on an amazing official visit. It was truly amazing to see THE Oklahoma State University. Go Pokes.”
Some other top targets Oklahoma State is hoping to land and could possibly be with this tweet is Arlington Seguin offensive lineman Quinton Harris and Choctaw defensive lineman Desean Brown, who said he will commit on Oct. 31.
