STILLWATER – One of the most used sayings in sports is don’t let one loss lead to another or let one game get you beat twice. It happens more often than you think. The psychology of sports is a real thing and that is why there are plenty of folks making a living as sports psychologists. Last Saturday in the Cotton Bowl Texas blew a 21-point first quarter lead and an 18-point third quarter advantage in losing to rival Oklahoma 55-48.
