Oklahoma State Moves into the Top 10 in Three Football Polls
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State moved into the top 10 of about every college football poll there is out there, but you have to think they did it with some kicking ad screaming from some of the pollsters. In an oddity when it comes to the Cowboys ranking in the major polls, they are ranked higher in the Associated Press (media) poll at eighth over the USA Today (coaches) poll, where they are ninth. A third poll that we are showing from the National Football Foundation and Football Writers Association of America has the Pokes the same as the A.P. in eighth.

Oklahoma State is 6-0 for the first time since 2015, where they went on to win their first 10 games that season. The Cowboys are one of three Big 12 teams in the top 25 with two other schools, including their next opponent Iowa State getting votes. For the first time ever, the Cowboys have defeated three ranked opponents in succession, but that will end this week as Iowa State is getting votes, but they are not ranked.
Oklahoma State and Iowa State will play in Ames, Iowa on Saturday. The Homecoming game for the Cyclones will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on FOX.
