Oklahoma State head coahc Mike Gundy addressed the media following the Cowboys’ 24-21 loss to Iowa State on Saturday. With the loss, the Cowboys moved to 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.
Quarterback Spencer Sanders had one of his more efficient games of the season as he went 15-of-24 for 225 yards and three touchdowns with zero turnovers. He also picked up 29 yards on 11 carries, though he was sacked twice for a loss of 20 yards.
Receiver Brennan Presley led the way for the Pokes as he hauled in six receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns, his best game of the season so far.
Running back Jaylen Warren carried the ball 18 times for 76 yards and receiver Tay Martin was second on the team in receptions with four for 80 yards and one touchdown.
Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez led the way on the defensive side of the ball as he recorded 13 total tackles, six of which were solo stops.
