STILLWATER – It was a huge bounce back game for Tanner Brown as the Big 12 named him the Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance against Kansas.

The senior out of Saugus, CA, was one-for-one on field goals and 7-for-7 on extra point attempts, bringing him to 6-for-8 on FGs on the season and 15-for-15 on extra points.

This is his first Big 12 PotW honor this season.

Brown’s best game of the season came against Texas in week six as he went 4-for-4 on FGs and 2-for-2 on extra points.

It was a huge game for Oklahoma State as they rolled to a 55-3 win over the Jayhawks. The offense combined for 535 yards, while the defense held the Jayhawks to just 143 yards of total offense. They also held them to just seven first downs on the day, 0-for-13 on third down attempts and just 2.9 yards per play on the ground and just 4.9 yards through the air.

The Cowboys are back out on the road this weekend and they’ll travel to Morgantown, WV, for an 2:30 p.m. CT game against the Mountaineers on ESPN.
