Athletic director Chad Weiberg and an emotional Mike Boynton addressed the denial of the appeals process the university has been going through for the past year.

None of the players on the current roster, including senior Isaac Likekele, were even on campus when the violations by former assistant coach Lamont Evans were taking place. As Boynton stated during the press conference, only one player was caught up in the investigation and that was former player Jeffrey Carroll, who received just $300, paid the money back and took the necessary three-game suspension, all of which was self-reported by Oklahoma State.
