The game between the Cowboys and Mountaineers marks the 13th all-time meeting between the two programs, a series which dates back to 1928. However, this year’s game marks the 10th-straight year the two teams have played. OSU is currently 8-4 against WVU, including a 3-2 lead in Morgantown and a 7-2 under Mike Gundy.

The Cowboys entered this week ranked No. 11 in the AP Top 25, the Coaches Poll and the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll. However, the poll that really matters throughout the remainder of the season is the CFP Poll, which dropped on Tuesday, with the Pokes also checking in at No. 11.

The Pokes are currently 7-1 on the season and are fresh off the 55-3 drubbing of Kansas last weekend for Homecoming.
