Oklahoma State Updates Depth Chart Ahead of Texas Tech
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State moved to 9-1 on the season, 6-1 in Big 12 play following the big win over TCU this past weekend, 63-17. The Cowboys are hitting the road to Lubbock, TX this weekend for their final road game of the regular season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on FOX.
Monday resets things for the program, which means an updated look at the depth chart for the upcoming game. Here’s a look at the depth chart for the Texas Tech game. As you’ll notice, there’s a familiar name listed for the first time since September.
Pokes Report was the first to report the return of Sterling prior to the TCU game.
Sterling suffered a hand/wrist injury and had what was considered at the time to be season-ending surgery to repair it. Up to that point, Tre had recorded eight total tackles, three of which were solo stops, and one tackle for loss.
Jason Taylor II jumped into replacement and has had a stellar season. He’s recorded 30 total tackles, 22 of which have been solo stops, 3.0 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, three quarterback hurries, two pass break ups and one blocked kick.
Offensive guard Josh Sills missed the TCU game with an injury and will be reevaluated this week. Center Danny Godlevske left the TCU game with an injury and will be reevaluated this week as well. Tyrese Williams got the start at guard and is listed as an OR on the depth chart. Joe Michalski is listed as the backup at center.
Cowboy back Braden Cassity also missed the TCU game, but Mike Gundy said on Monday he participated some in practice on Sunday and will be reevaluated throughout the week.
