STILLWATER – We’re nearing the end of the 2021 high school football season, which the postseason accolades are starting to roll in. It should come as no surprise that they’re starting to roll in for Oklahoma State 2022 four-star running back signee, Ollie Gordon.

On Friday, Gordan was tabbed the Texas 6A-3 District MVP, as well as the First Team running back.

This past season as a senior, Gordon rushed for 2,376 yards and 35 touchdowns. That brings his career total up to 4,878 rushing yards and 68 total touchdowns. He lined up as a wildcat quarterback this season and threw for 293 yards, bringing his passing total up to 311 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also hauled in 241 yards and four touchdowns on 13 receptions.

Gordon is not only one of the best running backs/athletes out of Texas in the 2022 class, but he’s one of the top running backs in the country.

He was First Team All-State last season and will no doubt be earning the distinction again this season.

Gordon committed to Oklahoma State early and stayed loyal but had some strong offers including Baylor, BYU, Missouri, Houston, Southern Cal, and others.

I don't know how big he is, but looking at that picture, he's going to need to spend a large amount of upper body time with Coach Glass

He's 6-2 and already 210. It's not going to take much, but Gundy also said they believe he'll be playing at 230.

Yeah, I looked it up and saw what he was listed at...... wink, wink.

the one I saw actually said 6-1, so he grew a whole inch between our two posts... wink, wink.

maybe it's his height and arm length that make him appear a bit scrawny... I saw the picture of him hurdling another player and he looked a bit stronger in that pic.

Can't wait to get him on campus.
