STILLWATER – “(We’ve) got an opportunity to do something special,” Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy said after the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl win over Notre Dame. He had been saying it before as well. “We take advantage of it (the win and the season) and find a way to continue to push forward. We can do something special.”

I thought OSU was supposed to be in Boone Pickens last will, did he disinherit OSU at some point? It was like and additional $20 million or some such... as part of his initial $70 million to kick-off the stadium fund raising drive?

maybe it got "reworked" when he made his bequeath pledge during the $1 Billion campaign.

That's a good point there. I remember hearing something about that too. Makes me wonder if we ever got that or what's up with that deal

Why is there the need to constantly have our hand out begging for Boone money. How about joining the Posse Club and making any donation that you financially can to help the cause? $10? $20?

we're not going to get far collecting pennies from paupers.... we might as well just go Div II now.

If we could get $10 from 20,000 donors, we'd have a whole whopping $200k

What I see when we travel to away games that we lack in BTP is the ribbon light boards and new looking turf. Plus, some rust is starting to show on stairs and aisles at joints. A simple rust preventative and repainting update.

If I remember hearing correctly that type of thing was built into the facility operations budget based upon the donations from Boone. Holder envisioned the need for those types of maintenance needs say every 10 to 15 years such as cosmetic improvements
