The Facts Around Quay Davis And His Recruitment After Including Cowboys In Final Three
Many Cowboys fans are excited to hear the news that Quaydarius Davis, a 4 star wide receiver out of Texas, included Oklahoma State in his final three along with Florida and Kansas.
Davis was committed to the USC Trojans since May 1st but signing day came and went without Davis signing. It was then reported that he was no longer committed to the Trojans.
Quay is a great athlete and a phenomenal wide receiver but the truth is, there is not a spot for him in this recruiting class. They are no longer actively recruiting Davis.
The Cowboys have signed four receivers in this class and after transfers, both in and out, there are no spots open on the roster at this time. Jelani Woods entered the portal, which opened a spot but it was quickly filled with Danny Godlevske, the talented center, out of Miami (OH).
Pokes Report has learned and confirmed that there is only prospect left that the Cowboys are targeting and that is Jaeden Roberts, the offensive lineman out of Houston, Texas. There have been rumblings though that Roberts is expected to go to the SEC, either Alabama or LSU.
If Roberts commit to the Cowboys, they would be one too many over the 85 man limit, which would cause for roster management and someone to transfer out or leave the team.
If Roberts does not commit to the Cowboys, it is expected that the 2021 class is final for the Cowboys and they will not look to take anyone else.
