The Oklahoma State staff sent out a new offer Wednesday evening to a player who could become a very important prospect in the 2023 class for the Cowboys.

Brock Glenn is a 6’2 190-pound quarterback out of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee. The Pokes’ offer appears to be his 17th offer in his recruitment joining schools like Michigan State, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, and Duke.

According to MaxPreps, the 2021 season was his first full year, playing in 10 games, but only attempting 155 passes. In the season, he threw for 1,576 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also ran for 161 yards and three touchdowns. He led his team to a 9-2 overall record.

He attempted 85 passes as a sophomore in six games in 2020, a season that may have been impacted by the pandemic. Even with only 85 attempts, he threw for 15 touchdowns.

The reason I say that Glenn could become a very important prospect is because of how the QB board looks right now for the Cowboys in the 2023 class. Outside of Glenn, the Cowboys have offered five quarterbacks, four of which are committed to other schools. The one who is not committed does not seem to be active in Oklahoma State’s recruiting.

So, now the focus, or at least some of it, seems like it will be shifted to Glenn.

It’s very possible, and likely, that more quarterbacks will be offered in the near future. Since Tim Rattay has been the quarterbacks coach, he has not offered more than six players in a class so I would not expect him to go crazy with offers. It means something when Oklahoma State offers them.

Either way, keep an eye on Glenn in the future as he could become a key component of the recruiting class for the Cowboys.
