Lindy Waters III Scores First NBA Points Against San Antonio

He finished the night shooting an NBA career-high 2-for-3 from the field and 1-for-2 from 3-point range to finish with five points. His eight minutes played also set an NBA career-high for Waters III.
Waters III, who also plays for the Thunder’s G-League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, signed a two-way contract with the Thunder on Feb. 11. Prior to that, Waters III had played in 28 games this season, starting in 14, for the Blue, averaging 8.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals per 19.9 minutes a game.
During his time at Oklahoma State, Waters III posted 1,152 career points in 121 games, which is good for 31st on Oklahoma State’s career scoring list.
