Watch: Oklahoma State Looking for Bedlam Sweep With Part Two Coming up on Saturday
STILLWATER – The season’s winding down for Oklahoma State, but not before the Cowboys head South to Norman to face Oklahoma for the second round of Bedlam this season.
Tipoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Feb 26, and will be televised on CBS.
The Cowboys took care of business the first time around against the Sooners in Stillwater, 64-55 back on Feb. 5. There were four Pokes who scored in double figures, but it was the in-state guys, plus Moussa Cisse who led the way that day. Rondel Walker posted 13 points, while both Kalib Boone and Cisse posted 12 points, with Keylan finishing with 10.
Mike Boynton, Rondel Walker and Tyreek Smith met with the media Thursday morning via Zoom to discuss the upcoming game. The Cowboys will be looking to get back to .500 on the season, as they’re currently 13-14 overall, 6-9 in Big 12 play.
The video above is Boynton’s availability in its entirety. He hit on bouncing back from the overtime loss to No. 10 Baylor, how to take advantage of OU’s Elijah Harkless being out for the rest of the season, as well as trying to limit forward Tanner Groves, who posted 23 points, one shy of his season-high in Norman. He did, however, set a season high in both made shots (10) and field goals attempted (17).
