It was a rough day offensively down in Norman as Oklahoma State drops the second of two Bedlam games, this one in overtime, 66-62.

With the loss, the Cowboys move to 13-15 overall, 6-10 in Big 12 play.

Trailing by two with less than 10 seconds left, 54-52, Isaac Likekele found a streaking Moussa Cisse for a wide-open two-handed alley-oop slam to tie it up at 54. The Sooners had a few looks to end it in regulation but wasn’t able to get them to fall.

Appropriately, the Cowboys finished the last 1:32 of regulation on a 7-0 run.

Likekele hit the first bucket out of the break in overtime to put the Pokes up two, 56-54, giving him his sixth point of the game.

The rest of overtime was just as intense as the final few minutes of regulation. Cisse recorded two incredibly athletic blocks in less than 20 seconds, the second which led to an acrobatic fastbreak layup for Avery Anderson III on the other end, putting the Pokes up 62-61.

With less than a minute to play, Likekele drove the paint and missed a bucket. Cisse hauled in the rebound but was called for over-the-back on Tanner Groves, giving him his fifth foul of the game and sending him to the bench.

Trailing by two once again, 64-62, this time with 19 seconds left, Anderson III elected a bounce pass in-bounds to Bryce Thompson, but it was stolen by Marvin Johnson, who drove the court and finished with an easy fastbreak layup, putting the Pokes back down by four and sealing the game. Anderson III had a desperation three before the buzzer, but it was too strong.

Anderson III led the way in scoring for both sides as he finished with 25 points, 7-of-14 shooting from the floor, 3-of-4 from 3-point range and 8-of-8 from the free throw line. He also had six rebounds.

It was an up and down first half for the Pokes as the Sooners jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the first four minutes of the game, which was combined with the Pokes going scoreless in the same amount of time. The Cowboys would then go on a four-minute 9-0 run to take an 11-10 lead.

That’s when the offense stalled out for the Pokes as they’d go on seven-minute scoring drought, along with a 12-0 run by the Sooners, trailing 25-12. The Pokes finished the half on a 7-4 run, but entered the break trailing by 10, 29-19.

The Cowboys shot just 25% in the first 20 minutes of action, going 6-of-24 from the field with 11 turnovers, scoring just six points off seven OU turnovers.

While it wasn’t a high-scoring affair, the second half was better for the Pokes as they shot 50% from the floor. They’d finish the game shooting a combined 39% from the floor.

The Cowboys are back out on the court this coming Wednesday, Mar. 6, as they travel up to Ames, IA, for a 6 p.m. CT showdown with Iowa State. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

This "goofy coach" was disciplining the player for breaking a team rule.

some lesson.... all we learned is if Cisse is late for the bus from the hotel to the arena, then OSU is going to lose, because of the goof (pick your own goof).

Yeah... that will teach them.
