STILLWATER – It’s been a heavy recruiting week this week for Oklahoma State as there have been several prospects in town, including a four-star running back out of Texas.

Quinten Joyner, a four-star back OSU and John Wozniak offered back in late January, posted of his visit to Stillwater on Twitter Thursday evening.

Joyner is a 5-11, 190-pound running back out of Manor (TX) High School in the 2023 class. He’s listed as the No. 200 overall prospect in the country, the No. 12 overall running back and the No. 36 ranked prospect out of the Lone Star State in the 2023 class.

He’s also a prospect who’s seen his recruiting process explode since January. Entering 2022, Joyner held three offers, Marshall, Pitt and Rice. Following the turn of the calendar, Joyner’s received 16 offers, including Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Houston, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, TCU and USC among others.

Joyner had a monster season as a junior last year as he helped the Mustangs to a 10-3 overall record. He finished with 223 carries for 2,494 yards and 31(!) touchdowns and just two fumbles, averaging 207.8 yards a game. He also had nine catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns.

The Cowboy coaching staff is still looking for a running back in the ‘23 class as they currently hold four commitments: DB Kam Franklin out of Oak Grove (LA), DL Jaedon Foreman out of Del City (OK), OL Jack Endean out of Tucson (AZ) Tanque Verde and OL JaKobe Sanders out of Stillwater (OK) High School.
