Cowgirl Basketball Adds Talented Group of Transfers

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has bolstered its roster with a talented quartet of transfers it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Jacie Hoyt.

Terryn Milton, Lior Garzon, Anna Gret Asi and Trinitee Jackson all signed with the program. The four standouts will join Kansas City transfer Naomie Alnatas, who signed earlier this spring, as additions to the roster for the upcoming season.

"We could not be more excited about the players we have signed. Each one brings something unique to our roster and they all bring a passion for the game and doing what it takes to win at the highest level," Hoyt said.

Milton, a native of Owasso, Okla., spent the past four years as a member of the program at UT Arlington. This past season, the 5-9 guard averaged a career-best 11.9 points per game to go with 4.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. She poured in her 1,000th career point in the Lady Mavs' NCAA contest at Iowa State. She was named a second-team All-Sun Belt pick as well as a member of the Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team.

In 2020-21, she averaged 9.6 points per game after averaging 7.6 points per in 32 outings as a sophomore and 8.4 points in 32 games as a freshman.

"Terryn is going to immediately impact our backcourt and desire to push the ball in transition. It is obvious basketball runs in her blood. Not only is she a natural playmaker, but she is a leader who understands how to win," Hoyt said.

Garzon comes to Stillwater after having played the past two seasons at Villanova. A 6-1 guard hailing from Raanana, Israel, Garzon was named the Big East Conference's Co-Most Improved Player as well as a second-team all-league selection this past season. While helping the Wildcats to a 24-9 record, she was the squad's second-leading scorer at 13.1 points per game and added 4.0 rebounds per contest.

She played in 24 games during the 2020-21 campaign, averaging 8.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest.

"Lior is a versatile player who we feel will create matchup problems for teams offensively. She is a big guard who can really score it. Her experience is going to help us tremendously," Hoyt said.

Asi joins the Cowgirl program after spending this past season at Arizona where she saw action in seven games as a true freshman. A 5-8 guard from Tartu, Estonia, she averaged 1.9 points per contest and hit three of her six 3-point field goal attempts.

Prior to beginning her collegiate career, Asi competed for Estonia in the FIBA 3x3 Olympic qualifier. She attended Tartu Universitetas where she led the squad with her 19 points per game. Additionally, she averaged 5.7 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game.

"Anna Gret is a dynamic guard who we feel will generate instant offense for us. She has an ability to score at all three levels and has great court vision as well," Hoyt said.

Trinitee Jackson · 6-3 · 5th Year · Forward · Dallas, Texas (Christian County/Arkansas State)

A 6-3 forward from Dallas, Texas, Jackson spent the past four seasons at Arkansas State. This past season, she earned third-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors. In 26 games, she shot 51.4 percent from the floor and averaged 11.6 points and a team-high 8.3 boards per outing. Additionally, she recorded eight double-doubles on the year.

In 2020-21, Jackson started 14 of the 21 games in which she played. She shot 48 percent from the floor while averaging 7.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

"Trinitee is about as physical as any player we have seen in the portal. She has a natural gift of understanding post angles and finishing around the rim. Her IQ and physicality will be a treat for our fans to watch," Hoyt said.
