Oklahoma State Makes the Cut for 2023 Four-Star Idaho Receiver Kenyon Sadiq
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has made the cut for one of its top receiver prospects on the board in the 2023 class.
Kenyon Sadiq, a receiver out of Skyline Senior in Idaho Falls, ID, took to Twitter Sunday afternoon and announced his top-8 schools, which include Oklahoma State, Colorado, Iowa State, Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Washington State and West Virginia.
Sadiq is listed at 6-3, 220-pounds and is listed as the No. 233 overall prospect in the class, the No. 18 overall athlete and the No. 1 overall prospect out of Idaho according to 247Sports.
This past season as a junior, Sadiq hauled in 79 receptions for 1,166 yards and set a school record with 19 receiving touchdowns. He also went 2-for-2 through the air for 35 yards and a touchdown and carried the ball 10 times for 50 yards and two touchdowns. He also hauled in two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
Oklahoma State is certainly interested in receivers in the Gem State as they’ve also offered 2024 Kimberly (ID) High School receiver, Gatlin Bair.
Bair was in Stillwater this past week for “The Show,” in which he was one of the top performers.
He checks in at 6-3 ½, 183-pounds, while posting some of the best measurables last week as he ran a 4.4 40-time and had a 37-inch vertical.
Bair currently holds a handful of offers, including Oklahoma State, Boise State, BYU, Idaho, Oregon, Stanford, Utah, Utah State, Washington State and Idaho State.
This past season as a sophomore, Bair hauled in 56 receptions for 987 yards a game, an average of 17.6 yards per catch, with 15 touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, he recorded 35 total tackles, 23 solo stops, including 4 ½ for loss and two interceptions.
Pokes Report has learned that OSU offensive coordinator and receivers coach Kasey Dunn went to Idaho and evaluated both players this past spring. So, there’s no question that Dunn and Co. will be heavily recruiting the pair moving forward.
