STILLWATER – While there aren’t many spots left in the 2023 class for Oklahoma State, they’re still looking to add a few pieces. On Monday, they got one step closer to possibly adding another defensive lineman as Keviyan Huddleston dropped his top-7 schools list.

Along with the Cowboys, Huddleston included Arkansas, Kansas State, Prairie View A&M, TCU, Texas Tech and UTSA.

Huddleston is a 6-4, 235-pound defensive lineman out of Chapel Hill in Tyler, TX. He’s currently ranked as the No. 573 overall prospect in the 2023 class, the No. 48 edge rusher and the No. 98 overall prospect out of Texas in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

He helped Chapel Hill to an 11-4 overall record, 4-3 in district play, and an appearance in the semi-finals of the UIL Texas 4A D1 playoffs, where the Bulldogs fell to LBJ Austin, 38-35.

Huddleston finished the season with 26 total tackles, 20 of which were solo stops, 5.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

The Cowboys currently hold 10 commitments in the 2023 class, with six on the defensive of the ball. There are four defensive linemen/defensive ends committed, Jaedon Foremen, Billy Walton, Ricky Lolohea and Poasa Utu, along with S Kam Franklin and CB Dylan Smith.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Pokes hold commitments from QB Zane Flores, Offensive linemen JaKobe Sanders and Jack Endean and WR Camron Heard.
