Jenkins' Twitter Shows He had Good Visit

June 26, 2022

STILLWATER – We’ve tried several times since Parker Jenkins departed Stillwater on Saturday following his official visit. The 5-11, 185-pound speedster that consistently runs close to 4.4 flat in the forty had over 600-yards rushing and eight touchdowns for the Golden Eagles, who are looking to rebound from a .500 season but a rough go of it in District 15-6A. Jenkins is ranked No. 85 in the Texas Football Top 100 2023 Prospects list.

Jenkins came in on Thursday and in kind of a departure, a change-up, he met right away the first day with head coach Mike Gundy.

Then the visit included the normal activities such as a full campus and academic tour. There was nice dinners and time with his host and the players on the team. If he was up early enough on Friday he saw how serious the strength staff led by Rob Glass and the players are about working to get ready to win games as Friday was a typical stadium steps workout with a lifting session immediately following.

jenkins was there with his mother and his younger brother linebacker Carter Jenkins (6-1, 190, 4.5). Carter took pictures with his brother and yes, he is a legitimate prospect in the class of 2024.

Jenkins has 38 offers and among the tops on his list are LSU, Boston College (recent official visit), Northwestern, Arkansas, Mississippi, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, and SMU.

Jenkins is a running back but so many multiple talents including returning kickoffs and punts.

We’ll see how this shakes out and I have a feeling that he might do something soon in the way of a commitment.
