Oklahoma State 2023 QB Commit Zane Flores Shows Out on First Day of Elite 11

Oklahoma State 2023 quarterback commit Zane Flores had a solid first day of competition at this year’s Elite 11, which is taking place in Redondo Beach, California.

The quarterback out of Gretna, NE, is in competition with 19 of the best quarterbacks in the nation in the 2023 class to see who can be one of the top 11 quarterbacks in this year’s recruiting class.

Heading into this year’s competition, there were multiple people from various publications around the country who predicted Flores would be a sleeper at Elite 11. Well, following the first day of competition, I think it’s safe to say he was just that as he was competing for 11th spot with Pitt commit, Kenny Minchey.

Flores, who’s getting coached by former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer and several other former NFL quarterbacks, has a chance to become the first OSU quarterback commit to make the final Elite 11 list. Pokes Report will continue to monitor the event, which takes place all week long.
