You can take it to the bank that what will happen and who else we land will not be what fans hope for or expect. So I'll expect most of these names listed to not be factors for us. We will have our pick of the litter tho on prospects no one else are looking at. Roll the dice and see what happens. Good thing we locked up rob glass cuz we are gonna need him more than ever.

We really need Perkins, Warren/Johnson and Lance Heard. Last year we had 6 4* commits. This year, zero. Can't blame small class for OSU struggling this year, we are getting no blue chip recruits.

I think Gundy has earned enough respect through a great record that I am not going to question his recruiting. He knows what he is doing. No one is ever comfortable with it because of the lack of 4 and 5 star recruits but the results prove the effectiveness of his system.

Look for Flores and Foreman to get the fourth star here soon.

No one would question Gundy the coach. One of the best if not the best. It's ok to be concerned with not having 4* especially With almost all conference foes are recruiting well.

I feel like we swung big this year in recruiting and it was not fruitful. Still we have time.

Robert, I'd be interested to hear a bit more about the choice not to offer De'Marion Thomas. I see what you said about us filling up at DT, but we haven't signed a lot of those 0 gap body types. It seems like we have signed a ton of guys who are 235, it seems like we haven't signed a true nose out of HS since Aden Kelly.

I think fans need to consider as they fret over OSU's recruiting outcomes, how does OSU's team match up to foes. Have we gotten to the point the "Gundy has peaked out" crowd now views him and the coaching staff as above nearly any other? Because if not, if you believe our coaches are very dedicated but still somewhat normal humans, then our game record must mean more than stars when you look at win/loss outcomes.
Another way to look at it is this: What team rosters that we played against were better than the Cowboys roster? Who would you trade rosters with if you could choose? Texas? Notre Dame? Iowa State, Baylor, OU? Because our roster last year beat every one of those teams once and nearly beat Baylor twice with a depleted, injury ridden RB and OL group.
So either Gundy, Glass, Dunn, etc. work miracles OR we're pretty solid in all phases of building a complete program and TEAM.
