Pokes Report Hits Scrimmages with Recruiting Updates to Come
DEL CITY – Pokes Report was out and about on Thursday (Aug 18) at several scrimmages and will be at the big Jenks four-team event on Friday (Aug. 19) to check in on Stillwater’s Gage Gundy and JaKobe Sanders as well as some other prospects. On Thursday we got an update on the Cowboys defensive line commitment Jaedon Foreman of Del City as the Eagles went against Moore. We also spoke to up-and-coming Class of 2025 wide receiver and cornerback C.J. Simon. Simon has already been on an unofficial to Oklahoma State to see a game and he says he will be back this season. Simon is starting to get some attention.
Over at Edmond Memorial we caught up with Class of 2025 quarterback prospect David McComb. We really like McComb and he competed very favorably in “The Show” Camp this past June in Stillwater. Then a Pokes Report find and we love it when we uncover a prime prospect that may have been discounted by schools and other recruiting sites. You won’t see Markell Johnson on other sites. The 6-4, 210-pound Johnson plays linebacker, edge rusher, and wide receiver for the Bulldogs. We believe he will end up with multiple Division I offers. He is tough, athletic, and he is going to get much bigger in a college weight room and with the proper instruction. He could play any number of positions with his talents.
Those reports are coming in the next couple of days on Pokes Report. Those will all be Premium content since nobody else will have them.
