Oklahoma State Makes the Top-5 for 2023 Four-Star Safety Warren Roberson

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is still in the mix to land one of its top targets in the 2023 class as the Cowboys are one of five schools listed in Warren Roberson’s top-5 schools list.

Roberson took to Twitter Monday afternoon to make the announcement.

As you can see in the tweet above, Roberson included Oklahoma State, Florida, SMU, TCU and USC.

Warren Roberson is a 6-0, 180-pound safety out of Red Oak (TX) High School. He’s currently listed as the No. 286 overall prospect in the 2023 class according to 247Sports, the No. 21 overall safety in the class and the No. 47 overall prospect out of the Lone Star State.

Roberson was in Stillwater in early June for OSU’s ‘The Show’ camp, but he wasn’t a participant.

Pokes Report spoke with Roberson at the event and his recruiting process is virtually still the same as he told Robert Allen.

“Everything is going good right now. I mean Oklahoma State,” Roberson told Pokes Report in June. “Yes sir, most definitely (Oklahoma State is in it). Other schools, I admit they are in it too, like USC and SMU right now and Oklahoma State.”

Roberson played all three phases for Red Oak this past season as he recorded 25 total tackles and four interceptions. On the offensive side of the ball, he hauled in 41 passes for 688 yards and six touchdowns, while averaging 18-yards a return on kickoffs and a really impressive 15.5-yards on punt returns.

Oklahoma State will continue to make Roberson a priority up until the December signing period rolls around.
